DEXA (Drone Express) has officially joined the ranks of top drone delivery companies after receiving two major regulatory milestones: FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certification and approval for its DE-2020 drone on the Secretary of Transportation’s S-1 List. These achievements authorize DEXA to perform Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations and confirm its proprietary drone as airworthy and ready for commercial deployment across the U.S.
This positions DEXA alongside Amazon Prime Air, Google Wing, and Zipline—while having raised significantly less capital—showcasing its ability to compete at scale.
“This is a momentous achievement for our team,” said Beth Flippo, CEO of DEXA. “It’s proof that a smaller, innovative company can stand shoulder to shoulder with industry giants. We’re ready to scale and serve communities nationwide.”
With these certifications, DEXA is accelerating its rollout of the DEXA NOW delivery app, offering 15-minute drone delivery of groceries, snacks, and essentials. Designed and manufactured in the U.S., the DE-2020 hexacopter combines autonomous flight technology with strong safety and environmental standards.
As a fully certified operator and manufacturer, DEXA now holds a unique position in the drone logistics space—ready to redefine how goods move in the modern world.
