Beth Flippo is an accomplished embedded engineer with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. She has designed and developed mobile hardware and software solutions and is passionate about unmanned systems. She has overseen the creation of Drone Express and remains a hands-on participant in the system design. As former V.P. of Embedded Software development at TELEGRID her leadership of the engineering team led to an expanded product line and further adoption of products into major DoD agencies world-wide.
Prior to TELEGRID, she worked in the finance industry at Cantor Fitzgerald, Goldman Sachs and UBS PaineWebber in New York City. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Thomas Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton. She is also a licensed drone pilot with the FAA and has a radio operator license, W2QNB, from the FCC.
Igal Sharret is the President of Drone Express, Inc. He is also founder and President of TELEGRID Technologies, Inc., a supplier of drones and associate equipment. Mr. Sharret earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) degree from the City College of New York, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (Now part of New York University), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rutgers University. Prior to founding TELEGRID, Mr. Sharret held technical and managerial positions at ITT, Raytheon, and Booz Allen Hamilton. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Brandon Mabey is the Chief Strategy Officer of Drone Express, with overall responsibilities for expanding product offerings to new markets, developing and maintaining client relationships, and growing the Drone Express network. Brandon is known for being a visionary who works with clients to develop and execute innovative strategies for successful brand growth. He has over 20 years of experience in technology and client services, with a focus in engineering, strategy formulation, product development and client relations.
Brandon is also a co-founder of CoreValueTec, which has developed many software applications currently being used in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to joining Drone Express, Brandon led engineering teams who successful launched over $5B of new products for Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Disney Cruise Lines.
Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
Gloria Sharret is the Chief Accounting Officer at Drone Express, Inc. where her responsibilities include all aspects of corporate accounting. As Chief Executive Officer at TELEGRID Technologies, Inc. , her duties and responsibilities encompass all financial and contractual activities. Prior to TELEGRID, Gloria managed her own employment services firm which specialized in the placement of hardware, software, and systems engineers into engineering companies. Gloria started her professional career as a teacher in the New York City school system.
Gloria received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Education and Sociology and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics for Educators from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
Russ has 15 years in and around the aviation industry including legislative, regulatory, and operational experiences beginning with US House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, the Federal Aviation Administration, and Dayton International Airport.
As a former FAA employee, Russ was steeped in the safety culture early in his career and it remains at the core of his work today. He currently oversees Drone Express’ design approval process, air carrier certification, and operational compliance activities.
Russ resides in Dayton, OH with his wife, Quin, and two children and holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. When he isn’t found at work, he can typically be found at home chasing his children around or working on the latest home project.
Robert Long is an Associate VP – Flight Operations with Drone Express. In this role, he manages multiple teams providing leadership and knowledge on all aspects of UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle/Drone) flight operations, such as drone safety, pilot planning and operations training. Prior to starting his current position, Robert was one of Drone Express first pilots which with his team, they conducted the first live drone delivery. He is no stranger to management, having spent 15+ years as an entrepreneur and a logistics supervisor where he managed 5-50 employees. Robert is also the creator of ShareLife Visuals an aerial video and photography company which has provided drone video for motion picture movies, music videos and real estate agents in the Dayton, Ohio area. His varied background in drones, being an owner operator and a logistics supervisor, provided the perfect foundation for his current position at Drone Express as Associate VP – Flight Operations. Robert is a qualified UAV Pilot and holds a Part 107 certification from the FAA and attend Alabama State University majoring in Marketing on a football and track scholarship. He resides in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Larin and amazing children. When Robert isn’t working hard at Drone Express, you’ll find him traveling with his family and spending time on their land.
